Focus and Scope

Jurnal Ilmiah Ibnu Sina (JIIS): Ilmu Farmasi dan Kesehatan is a broad-based primary journal covering all branches of pharmacy and its sub-disciplines that contains complete research articles. JIIS is a forum for the publication of quality and original works that open discussions in the field of pharmacy.

Peer Review Process / Policy

All manuscripts submitted to this journal should follow the focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. When a manuscript is submitted, a submission ID number will be given. Always refer to this ID number in communications with the editor. The corresponding author is responsible for informing fellow writers about the status of the manuscript during the review and publication process.

All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism content. All authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software (preferably Turnitin) to check the similarity before submitting the draft and attached the result with the manuscript. The editor checks all manuscripts to see if there are any similarities with other articles using Plagiarism Checker X. The editor reviews the manuscript for the scope then sends it to reviewers. All manuscripts are considered to be confidential and undergo a blind review. 

All reviewers are expected to complete their reviews after receiving the manuscript. The final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to the reviewer's comments. The corresponding author is notified of the editor decision to accept, reject, or require modification.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Ilmiah Ibnu Sina (JIIS): Ilmu Farmasi dan Kesehatan is published twice a year at the end of March and Oktober.

Open Access Policy

Jurnal Ilmiah Ibnu Sina (JIIS): Ilmu Farmasi dan Kesehatan provides direct open access to its content with the principle that making research freely available to the public and supporting greater global knowledge exchange.

All articles published by Open Access will be permanently free for everyone to read and download.  We are continuing to work with our author communities to select the best choice of license options: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA).

The Authors submitting the manuscript understands that the copyright of the accepted article will be transferred to Jurnal Ilmiah Ibnu Sina (JIIS): Ilmu Farmasi dan Kesehatan and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan ISFI Banjarmasin as the publisher of the journal.

The article processing charge (APC) is Rp. 500.000,- which is paid after there is a certainty that the submitted manuscript is accepted to BNI 0908309428.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Jurnal Ilmiah Ibnu Sina (JIIS): Ilmu Farmasi dan Kesehatan established the publication ethics of all parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, including the authors, editor in chief, Editorial Board, peer-reviewers and publishers (Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan ISFI Banjarmasin). The authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to follow the best practice guidelines on ethical behavior contained therein.

Jurnal Ilmiah Ibnu Sina (JIIS): Ilmu Farmasi dan Kesehatan applies Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) licenses to all works that we publish. Anyone can share or adapt materials from these works freely but must distribute its contributions under the same license as the original. In most cases, attribution can be provided by giving appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
